"The stories feature my four-legged partner in crime The Knight of the Hunter, AKA The Little Prince of Hackney. These tall tales were written originally for the amusement of my Facebook friends. They are all based on true events, although if the dog piped up he may have a different version of events. They form part of the 'I Met Some Woman' collection of very short stories” 
Lady Hairpin, Cate Halpin, The Invisible Woman are some of the aliases of artist C.A.Halpin, currently working from Hairpin Hall Artistic Laboratories and Creative Isolation Unit in Hackney, East London, where she makes uplifting art under extreme pressure. Halpin, originally from Liverpool studied Expressive Arts at Brighton Polytechnic and went on to gain an MA in Illustration at the Royal College of Art. She cut her teeth as an animator in London, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid, the experience of which has influenced her work and storytelling ever since. She also works as a curator, showing and collaborating with an ever-changing line-up of acclaimed and under-represented artists AKA The Outside World AllStars.
